Therapy for Couples, Families, Individuals & Groups

Emotionally Focused Therapy & Expressive Arts Therapy

"Believe in yourself and all that you are.  Know that there is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle."

                                                                    ~Christian Larson

I am honored to work with couples, families, groups, and individuals, ages 9 to adults.
Having completed advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy, which stems from attachment theory, I use the EFT model to guide my work with individuals, families, and couples. With children, I use Play Therapy to help children suffering from attachment wounds, all forms of trauma, and anxiety. I also include Play Therapy techniques in my work with families with young children.
My work with adults frequently includes trauma processing and addiction recovery.  In these areas, I still work from attachment theory but incorporate techniques designed by Tian Dayton, PhD, in what is called RTR (Relationship Trauma Repair.)  My individual work usually involves helping my clients connect with his/her core emotions, process and work through any repressed emotions or trauma, and grow towards a more secure relationship with self and safe others.
Issues I feel particularly called to serve include premarital counseling, marital enhancement, assisting couples experiencing relational distress of any kind, helping couples, families, and children move through the divorce process once that decision has been made, helping blended families move towards greater harmony within the home, assisting divorced spouses with coparenting their children,  grief, devastating loss. anxiety, panic attacks, bullying, postpartum depression, depression at any age or stage of life, infidelity, sex/porn addiction, chemical addiction, codependency, loss of a loved one to suicide, suicide ideation, and self-actualization.  Overall I believe in positive psychology, meaning that my ultimate goal is not only to help people heal and grow, but to flourish.  I am a highly optimistic and hopeful person and do not give up on anyone.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about me, the models I practice, or therapy in general.  I am happy to recommend books for those who are not quite ready to take the leap of therapy.  You can call me at 615-574-0327 or send me an email at noellewarner@comcast.net.  You can also learn more about me by visiting my Facebook Page (Noelle Warner Therapy), LinkedIn (Noelle Warner, LMFT), or Twitter (Noelle Warner, LMFT).
